CHEMICAL TESTS:

  • NH4OH (Ammonia): Cap surface turns yellow. Cap flesh turns a more intense yellow.
  • KOH: Cap surface turns deep yellow. Cap flesh turns a more intense yellow.
  • FeSO4 (Iron Salts): Cap surface does not change. Cap flesh turns a more intense yellow.
