Common Name:
Tells: Yellow stem pales going down & is coated w/yellow- to orange-brown scabers. Dingy lemon-yellow pores age toward olive-yellow, & bruise brownish to blackish.
Other Information: Small (<3″) yellow-brown cap pales toward the edge. Pale buff cap flesh slowly stains dull pinkish. Found in Michigan. Likes mixed oak & hickory.
