Other Information: Buff to brown cap may have pinkish tones. White-buff stem usually has pale to brownish netting, aging to brown-cinnamon base color w/white top & bottom. Likes oak.

Edibility: Too bitter to eat but useful for unique approaches like cocktail bitters. It isn’t toxic; just absurdly bitter.
