Common Name: “Chalky White Bolete”
Tells: White cap flesh DNS & may smell pungent or medicinal. White stem yellows going up w/white-yellow netting by cap.
Other Information: White cap may tint yellow or brown in age, esp. by edge, & may get fine cracks. White pores age toward olive-yellow & DNS. Likes oak and sandy soil.
Edibility: Good.
