Tells: Heavily cracked tan (with greenish tings) over white cap. Pores age from cream through pink to purple. White flesh DNS.

Other information: Rough, cap colored stem (it can be deeply ridged and netted) significantly longer than the cap is wide. Flesh is creamy white throughout, and DNS. As of 2024, this rare mushroom has only been found in the Florida everglades. Has a sterile margin projecting off the edge of the cap.

Edibility: Somewhat bitter, and so incredibly rare that trying it would be a sin.
