Edibility: Unknown, but probable.

Tells: Pores start tiny & yellow, end huge & brownish, and stain blue before fading to brown. Fissures into sections w/age. Pale yellow flesh stains blue & has pink layer by skin.

Other Information: Stem yellow on top, with red dots/ribs filling the middle. Often confused with B. chrysenteron, this has a redder cap when young.
