Common Name:

Tells: Stunted, irregularly shaped, olive-yellow to pale olive-brown cap often cracks. White cap flesh stains brown in some parts & blue in others.

Other Information: Brownish-yellow to gold-brown pores stain brownish. Short white-buff stem browns w/age or bruising. Only found in the high Sierra Nevadas under conifers, especially Red Fir.
