Common Name:
Tells: Wrap in wax paper & the paper will turn purplish brown. Viscid to tacky, whitish cap ages to yellow & then dull cinnamon-buff, & may crack w/age.
Other Information: Small white pores age to yellow & DNS. White stem yellows by pores w/age. White to pale yellow cap flesh DNS. Found in the Rocky Mountains of Idaho. Likes lodgepole pine.
