Tells: Small (<2″), velvety, oft-folded or -convoluted, purple- pink- to orange-red cap may crack by the edge w/age.

Other Information: Yellow to amber pores age dingier & DNS. Whitish cap flesh may blue, but only slowly or partially. Reddish stem w/yellow base & yellow mycelium. Likes conifers.

Edibility: Unknown.
